The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Endeavour Federation's Central Services Team. This role will involve providing efficient, responsive & high quality financial & administrative support to the three schools within the Federation. The successful candidate will be highly organised, have strong attention to detail and will be a quicker learner especially when developing their knowledge on different IT software.


Key Duties:


  • Being responsible for the administration of financial systems including the processing & recording of purchases and invoices.


  • Assisting in the preparation of BACs runs within required deadlines.


  • Using a purchase cards to obtain resources for the three schools in line with financial regulations.


  • Processing petty cash transactions using a software called Soldo, an online cashless system, for the three schools.


  • Communicating with supplier on a regular basis and dealing with any queries effectively


  • Chasing outstanding deliveries with suppliers and updating relevant staff on outcome/progress.


  • Processing staff mileage and other claim forms proficiently and on time.


  • Ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of all information produced.


  • Cover other administrative Central Service roles when required.



The ideal candidate will:


  • Demonstrate excellent attention to detail at all times.


  • Have strong organisational skills, experience of working to towards multiple deadlines.


  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to self direct, multi-task and prioritise your own workload.


  • Strong communicator - A clear communication style which is concise and effective - both verbally & written - as well as strong interpersonal skills.


  • Collaborate effectively as part of a team and use your initiative to support the team when needed.


  • Experience of using IT software to develop and improve administrative functions, particularly, using MS Office. Experience of using SIMs FMS software would be desirable but not essential as training can be provided.


  • Experience of working in a financial & administrative environment would be an advantage.


Term time only role. Actual salary - £17,526 to £18,971
